Made by the rural weavers of Bhagalpur, Bihar, it is one of the biggest weaving clusters for Tussar silk. Madhubani or Mithila painting is a style of Indian painting, practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar state, India. The Painting is done usually with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using dyes and pigments produced naturally, and is characterized by attention-grabbing geometrical patterns.
